An ultralight frame with an elegant, aerodynamic design. We have been searching for maximum velocity in the battle against time. With this in mind we have created ORDU, a multiuse frame as much for time trialling as it is for triathlon were the determining factor is speed. The frame is 75% M30S carbon fibre, initially conceived for Formula One racing cars. Its mechanical properties are unbeatable in achieving a stiffness and weight. As with our other high end racing frames the result is an improvement in stiffness and a weight reduction of 30% in respect to other carbon fibre or aluminium frames. Sophisticated calculus programs and innumerable tests to determine specific layering of the carbon fibres has resulted in optimum aerodynamic characteristics. The sophisticated structural design of the carbon monocoque, its muscular and equally aerodynamic shape encompassing the rear stay cutaway resulting in a close fitting rear wheel all speak to the integration of design and function. Extensive wind tunnel testing has proven the success of this effort.
